New wall unit with an innovative opening mechanism used in the Gliss Master system by Molteni&C.: Sistema 7.

The core of this project is a horizontally folding mechanism that allows the doors to be moved sideways, silently and effortlessly, from their closed position to the side of the compartment. If the side is not free, they can overlap the adjacent compartment leaving it completely accessible and without occupying the space directly in front of it.

The patented Sistema 7 mechanism is available also in a version for full height doors, to transform them into a system of doors with single or double opening direction. They become authentic portals between two rooms that integrate and blend into the surrounding furnishings, like real design tools that can configure the architectural space.
