Chester

Chester refers to the classic model of Edwardian England, taken from Renzo Frau in the first catalog of 1912, inspired by the sofas and armchairs that in those years populated the English clubs and country houses. It is distinguished by the plissé of the armrests that worthily close the rich capitonnée workmanship of the mantle, executed entirely by hand, expression of the craftsman virtuosity in the upholstery. The spring is obtained with biconical steel springs, positioned by hand on a seasoned beech frame. The seat padding is in rubberised horsehair, while the backrest and armrests are in hand-molded vegetable hair. The seat cushion is in goose down.
